I found it to be pretty scary. Mainly because there's so many ways to go about things that seemed to have an effect on the story, and being a total perfectionist, I JUST DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO! OH GOD, SOMEONE SAVE ME! It's pretty creepy subject matter, but I don't think you'll pee your pants or anything.

It's not particularly scary, but it makes you go "Hmmm" and/or "Whoa!" from time to time. I enjoyed every second of it though, and would recommend it to anyone who likes adventure games. It's definitely unique.
