So I just got home with the game, but am at complete indecision over what path I want to take, so I'm going to leave it to the Giant Bomb community to offer their cases on why one is more favorable over the other. I think it'll be interesting to see which is more popular
Good. I'm terrible at being evil, Mass Effect 1 was a good example of that. When I was on my evil run of that I felt terrible after pulling my gun on Conrad. No idea why, I just felt like shit.
Evil, apparently, I think it's because of how much more fun it was playing as Evil grungey Cole in the original (and the inFAMOUS 2 demo, actually) that I decided to qualm my middling morality issues and just go head first into playing a complete nob. I nearly always go good (or at least straying more towards good) when given the option, but Cole's powers develop so much more expansively when Evil.
Always good, I am to much of a good person to pick evil. But in the end I'll go back to get the trophies for evil.
Im gonna be Good this time (played evil in InFamous 1), It'll be a change plus I think it will make me play more strategic instead of just working out how best to take down enemies i'll also be keeping an eye out for civilians, make sure I don't hit them and heal them when I can. Another thing in InFamous 1 I thought being evil would make you team up with the Reapers from the get go, you would fight cops instead of criminals, that would have been cool although to be fair you do eventually fight cops.
Ahh can't wait to get home and play this game! been on a media blackout, bring it on!
I was good on my play through the same way I was in the first game. It will be my only playthrough. There does not currently exist any video game that has enough of a difference in the experience (whoo, different powers, slight story diversions, different looking/sounding character - big fucking deal) to invest another 15+ hours in.
I was good, in the first game the good addition to your powers were better than the evil ones and it seems like the same thing goes for 2.
This Good/Evil choice is stupid. Choices just aren't as simple as that. With that being said, I always find myself taking the good path. I just got my ice powers and the choices really don't feel like they make that much of a difference in the storyline.
I always go evil on my first playthrough of games that offer moral choice, but I'm strongly compelled to go good if I ever pick this game up, mostly because I've been hearing people say that the ice powers are way better than the fire powers.
