A game so Infamous its so good

Infamous is a super hero sand box game by Sucker Punch studios (they made the Sly cooper series).  Although the game isn't polished graphics wise, it is amazing. Its like GTA with super powers with a good story.
You are Cole MacGrath, a courior who is delivering package when a explosion happens at the center of Empire City.  But somehow you survive and gain electric super powers.  The city is cut off from the rest of the US and all the evil people begin to take over the city and its up to you to either save the city or rule the city.  Infamous has the good/evil concept where you have the good and bad decisions to make and this affects the story and how people look at you.  The story keeps you going at the beginning and then veers off in the middle but it comes back in the end.  The story is amazing if you stick to it and is presented in a very cool comic book way.
The gameplay is what makes Infamous really shine.  The good and bad decision you make doesn't just affect the story but your powers.  Making good decision will lead you to have good powers which usually have you restraining people where as evil decision make your powers become extremely destructive.  The powers are not only fun to play but you feel extremely strong.  Yet the enemies are still strong enough to make a challenge to go through each mission.  I also liked that progressing the story will lead to new powers even towards the last parts of the game, giving the player new powers to play with.  The game plays like GTA with story missions to progress the game (and open up certain parts of the city) and side missions (taking over enemy territory).  The missions are very much like GTA with Cole running errands for friends/cops/bad guys.  There are good and bad missions and doing one of them will lead to the other being ruled out.  These missions also veer towards what kinds of powers you get.  The missions are fun although some of the side missions start to get tedious due to its repetitiveness.
The graphics are great for the most part.  Infamous is a huge city and much like GTA.  With your powers its extremely fun to traverse especially since climbing and flying around the city can be done with a lot of ease.  But the textures aren't as good as other recent games although its not something that puts infamous back.  The audio is also solid with good voice acting and good power noises that are satisfying.
Overall Infamous is an amazing game and a game that should not be missed if you have a PS3.  If you enjoy GTA type game and super heroes this is the game to get.  I played through the game twice (once good and the second time evil) because i wanted to try out all the powers possible.  Infamous is one of the best ps3 games.

"Do I want them to love me...or fear me?" That quote and title up there represents a lot about what makes inFAMOUS, well inFAMOUS. It is an open world sandbox game by Sucker Punch Productions. Does that ring any bells? Hopefully you do recall something, as those guys at Sucker Punch developed the Sly Cooper games back on the PS2. So there is a bit of a pedigree going into this title. inFAMOUS is the story of Cole McGrath, an ordinary joe who works as a bike messenger. One day he finds himself de...

So many Emperor Palpatine references to make...Sucker Punch’s new, PS3 exclusive interactive comic book adventure, inFamous, is an easy game to love and one that leaves you breathless at the end eagerly awaiting another installment. Taking the GTA model of open world exploration and questing within a huge, living city, inFamous puts you in the shoes of the newly super-powered Cole McGrath and turns you loose in to wreak havoc or seek redemption as you see fit. The gameplay experience in inFamou...
