    Sticky man

Just to clarify, I prefer this over Prototype. Now that that's out of the way I can talk about Infamous!

The game opens up with a huge explosion happening in Empire City. You (Cole Mcgrath) are at the center of this explosion and are wondering why you suddenly have superpowers. The story only really gets interesting towards the very end which actually has one of the best twists I've seen in a game this gen. Really didn't expect it at all. Most of the characters are kind of bland like Trish and Zeke (who's definitely the fat version of Rico from Killzone 2).

The game boasts its moral system which lets you determine if Cole is going to be a good guy or a bad guy. These decisions are extremely black and white which is kind of a let down. These choices affect Cole by giving him two different tiers of powers depending on what you chose and making him either clean looking with blue coloured powers or gruff looking with red coloured powers. I went with good in my first playthrough but the game looks to be fun if you play it twice.

Electricity powers is where the game really shines. There is a great variety in the powers you get ranging from grenades, snipers, an electric shield and a lightning storm. Yeah, he's got the full arsenal. I loved playing around with these and causing alot of destruction.

Infamous has a weird way of climing things. Cole seems to really stick to things as you're climing up them. If you jump at something he'll gravitate towards it. This can be great and bad at times. When you're trying to show off by jumping around the place you can do it with ease, but when you're trying to get off something then just stick to another thing it can be frustrating.

I had extreme fun with this game. The variety of powers and the interesting story should give anyone a good time for their money.

"Do I want them to love me...or fear me?" That quote and title up there represents a lot about what makes inFAMOUS, well inFAMOUS. It is an open world sandbox game by Sucker Punch Productions. Does that ring any bells? Hopefully you do recall something, as those guys at Sucker Punch developed the Sly Cooper games back on the PS2. So there is a bit of a pedigree going into this title. inFAMOUS is the story of Cole McGrath, an ordinary joe who works as a bike messenger. One day he finds himself de...

So many Emperor Palpatine references to make...Sucker Punch’s new, PS3 exclusive interactive comic book adventure, inFamous, is an easy game to love and one that leaves you breathless at the end eagerly awaiting another installment. Taking the GTA model of open world exploration and questing within a huge, living city, inFamous puts you in the shoes of the newly super-powered Cole McGrath and turns you loose in to wreak havoc or seek redemption as you see fit. The gameplay experience in inFamou...
