    One of Sony's best exclusives

InFAMOUS is easily one of the best PS3 games out on the market. Why you ask? Well there's a whole lot of reasons why. First is the story. inFAMOUS puts you in the shoes of Cole McGruth, a bad-ass who's package explodes in his face as he's delivering it some where. After healing up for about a week, he finds that now he has the power to control electrisity. He also learns that the city he lives in is quarintined to stop a spreading plauge. Cole is promised to obtain his freedom by working for an FBI agent to help fix the city up. The story is mostly told through radio chats with firends, and Comic book style cutscence. It really feels like it was based on a comic book. You'll get some chezzy diaolog here and there, But the twists and turns you woun't see coming. The game's plot also chages when ever you make a moral choice to be good or evil, making you want to play the story again. Top that with it's pacing that feels perfect, and you looking at the next game that may get it's own comic book(Please god let this be made into a comic book). From the momment you start the game, everything looks and sounds amazing. The city looks great, the buildings are detailed very well, the lighting effects are awesome, there's praticly no Slow down what so ever, and Cole looks great with his solid animations. There are some small technical problems like pop in's and some odd character animation by suvilains, but it's not a big deal. The music is incredible that matches every set piece and the voice acting is solid. The gameplay is what really makes this title shine, of course. Think Sandbox dezien mixed with a shooter and a platformer. There are dozens of way to get around Empire City, you can jump from roof top, scale tall buildings, and(once you learn how to do it) use you electric powers to grind on ropes and train trakes. The platforming is solid, and feels like an evovled version of the Sly Cooper platforming, and is just as fun as those games. The combat is all about shooting. You can shot a jolt of electricity, throw stickey granades, snipe enemies, and more. This allows for a lot of experimentation, and for you to chose for you how to play the game.  along with these powers comes with a Karma meter, this ditermans wether your good or evil. When your good, you look regular and you electrisity is blue. When you evil, you look pale and your electrisity is red. Missions also have you making good or evil choices, and change the story up. These also allow you to use different electric powers, so there insentive to replay the game again on a different side. You can use XP that you get from missions to upgrade your abilities. There are also side missions, that are terribly origional, but they do keep things fresh, and your not forced to due them.  Doing these mission will allow enemies not pop up in certain area's, but this also can prevent you from doing certian side missions. The game also allows you to allow you to use simple melee combat, but it's all 3 hit combo's, and only isn't really needed to beat the game. If there's any problem with the gameplay, it's that running away from enemies is almost useless, since they'll keep shooting, even when your like a mile away. Other than that, it's all great. From the tight controls, to the easy to use camra, which you can adjust, and the combat, it's all fun. InFAMOUS is a must buy for PS3 owners everywhere. It doesn't feel disapointing in any way, and it lives up to what it was to be, a sandbox super hero game, and does an amazing job at it.

"Do I want them to love me...or fear me?" That quote and title up there represents a lot about what makes inFAMOUS, well inFAMOUS. It is an open world sandbox game by Sucker Punch Productions. Does that ring any bells? Hopefully you do recall something, as those guys at Sucker Punch developed the Sly Cooper games back on the PS2. So there is a bit of a pedigree going into this title. inFAMOUS is the story of Cole McGrath, an ordinary joe who works as a bike messenger. One day he finds himself de...
