Overview
Infinite spawns are commonly found in many first person shooters, as well as other types of games. They often prove to be frustrating to players for a number of reasons:
- On harder difficulties, endless waves of enemies can be extremely difficult to get through.
- The player is often forced to press forward until they reach an invisible barrier they can't even see, thus ending the onslaught.
- Occasionally, there's goals to complete within an area that enemies continually pour into, adding to the stress.
