I just saw that. Surprising that more people are leaving. But it wouldn't be surprising if they join West's and Zampella's new studio, Respawn Entertainment.

Ya and it's all lead people so they most likely will since they have been with them since orginal Medal of honor game.

I mean look it's like all the high up people in studio top dogs.

Nah.  He's so busy trying to convince people that MW2 isn't a bug-ridden mess that he probably hasn't even noticed yet.

    ZING!
In all seriousness, Infinity Ward's going downhill if they can't even keep their main talent. It was pretty obvious this was going to happen. It's the Gerstmanngate incident all over again!

Well, I can say that this Respawn Entertainment + the deal with EA definitely isn't going to help with the countersuit that Activision has going.

Also, I'm more on Activision's side at this point than I am with West and Zampella.  Also, how many of those doods that left IW have breached some form of contract in the transition?  This is fucked up.

Everyone should just leave IW at this point, don't split the talent pool without going all the way.

    Pretty much my thoughts exactly.

For some odd reason everyone seems to think Infinity Ward employees (both past and present) can do no wrong and that Activision is all to blame though!

Why, those are all the highest-paying (besides PR and marketing) and most important positions.

Before you guys go too crazy, some of those people have already taken positions at other companies, not Respawn.

It's a secure job in a horrible economy. I don't imagine all of them are in the best positions to leave the company. You can bet morale will be scraping the bottom of the barrel though, which makes me feel bad for the people who will be left at the IW studio.

You know, if their contracts actually said anything about royalties and they haven´t been paid up since the release of MW2 (which has been some time ago), they have every right to go.
Yes, talking to a potential new employer could be seen as a breach of contract but quitting your job and finding a better one sure as hell isn´t a breach, unless those people signed really bad contracts with Activision. So, worst case scenario is: They can´t work for a direct competitor in the next 6 months.

Also, siding with Activision is never a good thing. Not in this case. Not in any case.

If they all join Respawn Entertainment, it will be interesting to see how the lawsuit turns out...
