Tried both and I feel I can pull off the moves better with the alternate controls, also that tutorial with the batarang got me pretty pissed with the <- -> Triangle move that I resorted to the alternate. Got pretty good at using this control scheme so I stuck with it.

Is that what that is? So quarter circles instead of down right/left? Half circles instead of back forwards? Hmmmm

Yep if you change the alternate controls to off or on it'll actually show on the move list the new move scheme. I tried both a little yesterday and its probably more towards comfortability which is the latter for me.

I like tapping out the moves myself.

Default, so what is that? And it has been working just fine so far. If you would have asked me I would have guessed the Street Fighter controls since I have never really been proficient at Mortal Kombat.

The alternate controls are better of as they are not susceptible to the cross up weirdness of the mks controls.
