When the developer of Don't Starve and Mark of the Ninja announces a new game, one listens. That’s why I had a momentary freak out this morning when I learned of Klei Entertainment’s latest, a “turn-based tactical espionage game” called Incognita.

There’s no trailer yet, but a piece of wallpaper on the game’s official website seems to have what look like a screen shot--of sorts. Take a look:

Hmm, odd that I had 0 respect for the Klei name back when they were "the Shank guys" and now I'm interested in anything they're up to. Guess they found a better use of their skills.

Nah man, best day ever would be knowing what the Persona 5 color scheme will be or a Fallout 4 announcement. On point, after having just completed Mark of the Ninja last week and being an avid fan of the recent Fiery Emblems and XCOMs, I'm interested up in this.

Klei continuing to have a diverse portfolio of games while also showcasing their great art style. Really liking this!

Metal Gear ACID?

I'm not Klei's biggest fan but I am one of Don't Starve's biggest fans and this looks like it's more along the lines of Don't Starve than Shank/Shank 2/MotN.

Very interested. Tentative but very interested.

Klei is a pretty interesting indie dev. They actually make and ship a bunch of pretty great and wildly different games with reasonably short development time. They certainly don't lack any talent.

Really digging that art style.

I've not yet played Don't Starve, but I'm looking forward to it on PS4/Vita. Loved Mark of the Ninja and Shank.

After the success of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and Fire Emblem: Awakening there has definitely been a rise in western-developed strategy game announcements.

I'm a sucker for turn-based games. Anything in the vain of X-com and FFTactics and I salivate like a starving dog in front of a deli on a hot day.
