    So I want to buy an iPad 3 but I want to know if after all this time has the heat issues have been overstated or is it actually problem? Has it affected the battery integrity?

    I use my iPad (first-gen) for comic books (a lot), general web shit, TV shows now and then and rarely (if ever) gaming. Is the heat bad with video? I'm fine with not watching HD stuff... and I usually run 50%-ish brightness.
