I have finally buckled down and decided to get an iPod Touch. Just because it's so damn sexy, because it's so awesome, because it's so handy, and just cause I want a fun new gadget.

So here's the question: What are the best games on the platform?

Blue Attack and Blue Defend are both awesome and play to the touchscreen strengths.

Bejeweled 2 is also a must-have if you're a puzzle fan, as it's much cheaper than Puzzle Quest and more care was put into its development. I'd avoid Puzzle Quest, it's almost the textbook definition of shitty port.

Tap Tap Revenge and Jelly Car are the only games I still play but Rolando and iShoot are definitely awesome. In other words, download every game named so far.

Nobody has mentioned CubeRunner yet? I think that is free, and my friends always seem to have orgasmic-like reactions when they break each others highscores. Which is sort of pathetic.

It IS free if you had the older version, but this thread is geared toward people that want some NEW apps. (ie: They wouldn't have the old version.)"

No it isn't. All we had was a massive update to the Lite version of Aurora Feint II: The Beginning."

The game Radial 50 is supposedly going to be a bit hit. The best part of it - it's only going to be $1.99

I have heard it's being released May 2009.
