The iPod is a media player manufacturer by the Apple Corporation. In video games the iPod has been featured as a working audio device and even as a collectible that unlocks audio tracks.
When you download the 2MB iPod Media File off of XBL it says you can play music (done that.) and play MPEG4 video off of your iPod. But when i go to Videos in the Blades the iPod doen't appear as a Portable device! :(
The only way I know of is to enable your iPod as an external drive in iTunes and transfer the .mp4 or any other files you want to watch onto your iPod in Windows Explorer. Then go into your iPod in My Computer, make sure hidden files and folders are viewable and change the folder name of "ipod_control" to anything you want. This essentially tricks the 360 into thinking it is now a standard external HDD and not an iPod. Then plug it into your 360 and you should have a "Portable Device" option in your video library. Go into that and you should be able to see all the files on your iPod and view them.
"Or just buy the cables to hook the ipod directly into the television."
No dude that's only if you want to play from your iPod with iPod spec videos. Doing it the way I said, you can play ANY format that the 360 will recognize.
