Hey everybody, I just found this Cadillac promotion for 3 months of free iRacing in case you're curious about it but don't want to shell out the big bucks just yet.

    https://cadillaccupracing.com/

Only works for new members though.

Yeah, I already posted this in the Racing League thread but I guess it got lost under most of the posts, hell why should you even check back on all of that sign-ups? So I guess a dedicated thread to this is the right way. And don't be scared when it says it expired in May, the offer is still valid! Before May they had a 6-month for free offer and after that expired they replaced it with the 3-months you get now. You also get some additional content (unless they made the Cadillac, Mid-Ohio and some other track free for all now) which is an absolute deal.

as somebody who just bought 3 months. Fuck. As somebody who's finally learned their way around iRacing. The monthly fee is like chump change compared to all the cars and tracks you need to buy.

@jams: I started to think that then realized that 70% of the stuff I don't even want, to be competitive you really need to find a discipline you like and focus on it. I just got into IZOD and will probably just be racing that full time for a fair while.

@dark: Yeah, once you progress through the rookie license, you can probably focus on 2 or 3 cars, find what you like best, and drop down to 1 or 2 other cars to get serious in. My eventual goal is to be able to race in the Radical and Star Mazda series, so I'll be doing the Skippy and SCCA racer in my D series.
