I really hope the UI stuff gets figured out in a release soon. Looks like having to look that far up for the start lights & rear view would be really hard to have to deal with. Also, it'd probably be better if he weren't sitting quite to upright in the seat to get a better feel for the driver position in game. I think it's fantastic that he pulls a Scanlon Flip at the end, though.

I've seen other videos where the UI moved with the driver, which looks like what we're used to seeing in the game. So that's probably something you can adjust.

In all the Rift videos I've seen, this is the default position for the head. The idea is that the in-game camera be situated where the driver's head really is. On a tv or monitor, that point of view is too far away, but for VR goggles, that's the ideal place to have it. If it were lower or closer forward it'd probably be disorienting. It looks bad in a video since you're not seeing it quite as the driver saw it at the time. Get your face real close to the screen, cross your eyes like you're looking at a Magic Eye image, and that's kinda like seeing what he saw.
