Just finished watching the live stream of Double Fine counting down the end of their Kickstarter funding and Tim let it slip and mentioned Iron Brigade PC. It could have just been a joke, but during the feed he says he's glad he didn't have his mic on when he was talking about Iron Brigade PC, but he accidentally left it on when he said that to someone else :P
Iron Brigade
Game » consists of 3 releases. Released Jun 22, 2011
Described as "a game about love," Iron Brigade is a goofy alternate-historical WW1-themed third-person shooter/tower defense mash-up where up to four players take control of hulking bipedal tanks and must endure swarms of television-based robots.
Iron Brigade PC
Oh crap I forgot to watch. Was wrapped up in Tribes Ascend.

Yeah, that rings a bell. This has been unofficially official for a while. But it's up to Microsoft's marketing to decide when they get to announce it.Wasn't Iron Brigade discovered on a steam database around the last TNT for it?
Didnt they do everything they could to say that it was coming without saying it was coming during the TNT? Also sounded like they "hinted" at F2P or micro.
With Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet coming out last week and Toy Soldiers coming out sometime today, i'd say Iron Brigade could be right around the corner. Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet PC was announced a week or two beforehand and Toy Soldiers was announced basically saying its now out. So perhaps next week but who knows. Either way it seems like Microsoft is on a roll releasing PC ports. Oh and i'll say it and I don't care if I get flack for it...I'm happy they are having GFWL. I personally have had little issues with GFWL apart from Halo 2.
that's what i'm waiting for. let's hope we get a confirmation soon

Has there been any news about the pc version? I really want to play this game.
Nope, since MS' owns the IP they can sit on it as long as they want. Even if DF would like to push it to PC.

Hm bummer. Stacking came out a while ago on steam. Does MS also own that IP?

Don't believe they do since it's available on the PSN. If I remember hearing correctly out of that batch of arcade games the only game that DF didn't keep the IP rights to was IB/Trenched. Which bums me out since I would love more content for that game, as well as a PC version.
I have never been so glad to be wrong. Looks like it's coming to PC.

Good news everyone!
Those screenshots do make me slightly wish for DX11 Tessellation (I'm sure it's the 360 assets so it isn't terrible but we do have quite a few GPUs that can push a lot more polygons on PC) but maybe people will find the models can be swapped out on PC without too much trouble and even if not, still doesn't look like a bad game, especially in the price range (and coming with the expansion). I never got round to owning it on 360 (Europe, I blame where I live for this!) so I'll make sure to keep my Steam account in 100% Double Fine compliant mode by grabbing this when it's out.
