Described as "a game about love," Iron Brigade (formerly known as Trenched) is the third downloadable game from Double Fine Productions. Two wartime codebreakers receive a powerful alien transmission that makes them super-intelligent and totally deranged in this World War I-themed four-player mech shooter/tower defence mash-up.

The fact that 'Drenched' probably won't be a game saddens me.

I marathon-ed Trenched on launch day, played through all of SP and enough MP to get a full regiment.  I love the game's style, humor and asthetic, and I think the double fine guys have all the talent in the world.  And when the guys were joking about making the sequel an underwater game called drenched, it just sounded amazing.  Maybe I'm just a sucker for clever wordplay, but the idea of women inspired by the Rosie the Riveter-esque ads taking submarine mechs to the sea floor to whoop some sea-Tube ass just filled me with joy. 
 
 I'm sure whatever comes next will also be great, just thought this idea sounds cool as hell, in theory.
