A powerful biotic, Subject Zero is one of the new crew members for Mass Effect 2. Shepard first encounters her on the prison ship Purgatory.

An arena in the Citadel in the Mass Effect series.
Citadel Space

Citadel space is the seemingly vast region of the galaxy occupied by species that acknowledge the Citadel's power, though it truly only encompasses about 1% of explored space.
Migrant Fleet

Also known as The Flotilla, The Migrant Fleet consists of around 50,000 starships which house more than 17 million Quarians who were forced to abandon their homeworld after being exiled from it by the geth.
Omega

A space station built out of the remains of a metallic asteroid which is home to many criminals and mercenaries. Commander Shepard visits during the events of Mass Effect 2 to recruit people for his team.
Purgatory

Purgatory is a prison starship owned and run by the mercenary group, the Blue Suns. Commander Shepard visits during the events of Mass Effect 2 to recuit Subject Zero.
Terminus Systems

The Terminus Systems are located on the far side of the Attican Traverse, beyond the space administered by the Citadel Council or claimed by the human Systems Alliance.
The Citadel

The Citadel is a location found in the Mass Effect series. It is the Center of Galactic civilization. It is here where the leading races in the Mass Effect universe are represented and discuss galactic subjects. The Citadel is maintained by a small mystical alien race known as the Keepers.
The Milky Way Galaxy

This quaint, barred-spiral galaxy is home to hundreds of billions of stars and is centered around a supermassive black hole. Located somewhere in the inner-rim of the Orion Arm, Earth is merely a speck of dust in this immense celestial cloud.
Tuchanka

Tuchanka is the homeworld of the Krogan, who devastated the planet with nuclear war approximately 4000 years before the events of Mass Effect. Commander Shepard visits the planet in Mass Effect 2 to obtain loyalty from his crew members.Urdnot Wrex makes an appearance here if he survived Mass Effect.
