Election and Presidency

 Roden's time in the Gallente Federation had its ups and downs. His early life saw him charged with theft, and other illegal businesses. This left permanent damage on his reputation. He eventually had to shift his ownership of Roden Shipyards to his daughter, Miloise Roden. 
 
 Unexpectedly, however, a dire situation arose in August of 111 involving the Caldari and massive losses in the battles they fought against them. Current President of the time Souro Foiritan, decided he would take it upon himself to force all companies to produce weapons of war for the Gallente government alone. Jacus took it upon himself to unite the top corporations of arms manufacturing to create weapons for the war but not for the Government alone. This act caused Jacus to emerge as a prominent figure in the Gallente Federation because he helped avoid freedoms from being trampled on in a time of war. It also caused President Foiritan to resign after the conflict.
 
 Jacus rode on his political victory and applied for candidacy. During elections He made many promises to improve standings, reclaim losses, and arrest those who are corrupted, and improve The Federation Navy. Jacus Roden was named president-elect in December of year 111. He was inaugurated in year 112.
 
 Since President Roden's time in office the Minmatar and Amarr have welcomed him more so than the prior President. Tibus Heth, Executor of the Caldari State however has declared hostility towards him and the Gallente Federation. The Mega-corporations and their leaders however see him as a leader to work with.
