I'm contemplating buying the Jak & Daxter collection. I loved the games when I was younger and remember beating all three multiple times. So, old die hard fans of the Jak & Daxter series, would you consider this a good buy at $40?

I've found out that most PS2 games have not aged well (I'm not talking about graphics here, folks) so no.

@Enigma777: Would you consider the gameplay repetitive now?

i'm playing through the original and it's still a really solid game. maybe a bit simplistic but jak 2 and 3 i'd say are still pretty relevant.

Don't know about Jak, but I've been playing the first Sly and it's still pretty damn good. Wish I had played it when it was new.

I think it's worth it.  If you loved those games when they came out the HD collection would be an awesome blast from the past. Or of cource you could just see if you still have a PS2 laying around and all three Jak games.

coming from a person who has beaten all three (not X yet) yes, buy the damn thing. jak and Daxter holds up a lot better than the sly cooper games. No dis to sly but it looks pretty bad.

I bought both the Sly collection and the Jak collection and have enjoyed both so far, but then again I only ever played the first one of each series. All the games look very nice too.
