James Benson is a self-taught animator, formerly of Lionhead Studios.
Professional History
Beginning in March of 2009, Benson spent 8 months learning to animate, after which he was hired by Lionhead studios, where he worked as a character animator. He did character animation for both Fable 3 and Milo and Kate, before leaving the studio in September of 2010. He is currently working on animation for upcoming indie game Warsoup. Independent Projects
Outside of professional game creation, Benson has also created several animated videos. In September of 2010, he release Dance Fortress 2, an animation featuring all of the characters from Team Fortress 2 dancing to the song "Everybody Dance Now". In addition, Benson has created several animation tutorials and released a short, first-person test footage video featuring Gordon Freeman and Dog fighting several enemies from the Half-Life universe.
