James Cameron's Avatar: The Game
Based upon the upcoming James Cameron film of the same name, Avatar is going to be a different storyline than that of the movie. Set on a gas giant's moon, Pandora, the game pits the merciless Humans against the moon's ferocious natives, the Na'Vi.

I'm sceptical on this. Might be better then most games based off movies though...maybe.

If it's a long-running franchise of some kind, then coolio, I just thought it was interesting to see two planets both named Pandora within the span of a month, month and a half.
Been watching some videos on this, looks like it could be good. You can play from both sides and they each have a unique story.
That is a pretty crappy trailer. Hopefully it's not doing justice to the game.

Did Cameron say that they really focused on the environments? If so, they should've at least made it so you don't just clip straight through foliage. As demonstrated at 0:54.
EDIT: After watching a second time, some of the bushes do shake as the Na'Vi was passing through them.

Does anyone else think that the jungles in the budget dinosaur game from yesterday's quick look were better?

On another note, I don't see this game being anything more than a pathetic Halo clone.
