One of the three founders of the Umbrella Corporation and the creator of the T-Virus. He was murdered by William Birkin and Albert Wesker after being ordered to do so by Umbrella's higher ups. His own creation brought him back to life and out of revenge he unleashed the T-Virus infection in the Arklay Mountains research facilities. Thus sparking the events of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil 1.
