    Lt. Jimmy Patterson is a fictional character who "represents the Medal of Honor theme" In Frontline, he is tasked with stealing a German Jet named the Horton Ho 229 (HO-IX).

     

    In the original Medal of Honor, Patterson is one of the first recruits for the newly formed OSS.  Prior to being recruited, he was caught behind enemy lines and succesfully took several Germans as prisoners.  His resume shows that he is a skilled marksman, including top scores with various sniper rifles.  Additionally, he is fluent in German and Italian.

     

    Patterson is a silent protagonist.  The story is presented through voice overs from his commanding officer while historic footage played, and through text based mission directives prior to each mission.
