I just put 1700 points or so into the wiki for this, so it seems only reasonable to add a review and get all subjective about it, right?Frankly, while I like flight sims, and sims in general, this is the first arcadey flight combat game I've played recently (no Ace Combat, no HAWX, no... whatever the other options are). But it was cheap and the screenshots looked okay and I like flying games, so how bad could it be?Result: not that bad. But not amazing. The singleplayer isn't terrible long, and...

J.A.S.F. just misses the point of the genre 0
Well since Ace Combat: Assault Horizon didn’t do it for me, I picked up Jane’s Advanced Strike Fighters on a whim to see if that was worth the few dollars I paid for it. Besides, ATF Gold was one of my earliest and favorite PC games that I ever played so Jane still knows how to make ‘em right? Well not so much. After playing just one mission, I was already beginning to miss that good old crazy Ace Combat action. Even if it was drastically changed. But I will save that for the dislike paragraph, ...
