    Does Jeff still visit Game Spot?  I'm just wondering because I noticed on a recent bombcast he made a comment in regards to Van Ord and Demon's Souls.
     
    Also, does anyone here like Game Spot anymore?  I personally do not like that site anymore.  I recently tried going back but this Tor Thorsen dude kept getting on my nerves......it just is not the same anymore without Jeff, Brad, and the rest of the crew.  In my opinion that website really went into the shitter after the current Giant Bomb crew left them.

    I still listen to the hotspot and use gamefaqs.com. Thats about it.
     
    Besides, who knows if jeff isnt just getting his info from his undercover homies.

    Thats a fucking understatement of the year. it seemed one's upper management decision to fire Jeff cost that web site more then they thought. Have you seen the quality of their video reviews? I mean Van Ord has improved (a lot) since Jeff left but the other guys have the charm of a cadaver. I know this topic is kinda old but since you mentioned it I have to say this: I think Eidos didn't really wanted Jeff fired but were upset about the fact they paid gamespot that much money to advertise their game that naturally they got upset about the "unfavorable" review it got. I think they just bitched about it to a suit and eventually he decided that he would fire Jeff to please them.  So that guy fired Jeff and it just snowballed on from there. I really don't think Eidos expected this to snowball into what it became. I don't know if you this or not but the guy that fired Jeff got himself fired not long after that whole debacle, as Nathan Drake said "Karma's a bitch". BUt we will  never the truth of what was behind that whole incident as Jeff and Gamespot won't talk about it and it's likely none of them will ever say what really happened.
