Good Morning America! Jeff Gertsmann on Dreamcast!
It's awesome, but painful too.
Watching old movies of the Giantbomb guys is hilarious. I recently watched Brad's Jak and Daxter review (I believe) for Gamespot. I felt pretty sorry for him. He looked so nervous. Unfortunately, he didn't look half as bad as he sounded. Thank God for us he has grown out of that phase.
Note: I wasn't e-stalking Brad or anything creepy like that. I was actually watching it because I was interested in buying the games, which I did.
"That clip seems so 1980's, maybe that's because I only ever watched the Today show."That's funny, seeing as the Dreamcast came out in 1999.
The DC deserved so much better, awesome little machine. If it had lasted a little longer they would have managed both the Microsoft-esque market of PC-style gaming with all the FPS and western action games (Half-Life, Black & White, etc), while they also had ideas that were very Wii-like as Gun Valkyrie would use a joystick and lightgun combo (not to mention it looked awesome and not far from what became an awesome looking Xbox game). Any gamer who didn't buy it on time and therefor contributed to its downfall just because of the promises Sony made when their system wasn't even available (and they took their time in fulfilling those promises) is a loser.
