I was wondering, has Jeff ever made any mention of his political beliefs? I'm curious because I noticed a slight oddity when Obama was mentioned late October/early November. Brad seemed to get a bit uncomfortable (i think he's conservative, maybe) but Jeff said something (i forget exactly what) that was pretty liberal, which made me think he's a liberal (which is good by my books! :P). anyways, this drew me to wonder about where the Giantbomb guys stand politically, mainly because I'm a political junkie.... it would be interesting to know though, because generally gamers are stereotyped as being mainly liberal.

Liberal or conservative, I don't really care. These guys are good at what they do, let's not try to get into their private lives.

If they're liberal, I don't care. If they're conservative, I still won't care. If they supported Sarah Palin, then there will be a problem.

the only real political thing they have truely said was how they are against the law makers (or some politician) that id trying to draft up a law against gaming whether its trying to regulate it like porn is or killing the esrb and have a government thing instead.

Other than that, they would normally try to shy away from that other than when it affects games (their comments on Haze); the only other time I have seen them mention anything political is "having an american flag tastefully sewn on your backpack" whatever that means; but that is more on a comment on current political times and not their own views.

If you really want to know, they have been living in the SF bay Area now for the past 10 years at least so your best guess is that they share some if not a lot of the same feelings as the political climate is in the SF Bay area.

No.  Everybody already knows the SF Bay area is more socialist than anything else.

How about we leave the Staff's personal lives to them? Honestly while I'm sure you all want to know their political view, what they have for breakfast on Friday's and do they prefer cats to dogs. I think it would be best if we leave that information for them and those who know them.

Lets discuss some games or gaming predictions for 2009 shall we?
