As far as I can tell, this is a dude who's trying to take advantage of the "recommend GameFly to a friend feature" by somehow getting people to join through saying they know him...or it could just be a scam to get people credit card numbers.
Either way, I doubt cartoon-Jeff or real-Jeff really approve.

hmmm... wierd and probably used without permission. Apparently someone felt jeff's cartoon face would work as a selling point to gamers.
Side note, I always hated those websites that attempt to profit off you signing up for someone elses services. Fuck refferal websites.
