The girlfriend of Jackie Estacado.

*SPOILER ALERT *

Jenny is the girlfriend of Jackie Estacado, like him though, she was also orphaned, having grown up in the same orphanage, the St.Mary's Orphanage, during the campaign of The Darkness, she is a very loving person, and innocent, as the darkness claims, the player will learn that she has bought a new apartment.

Jenny Romano is used as a hook for the game, an emotional lock-in for the player to connect to her in an emotional way, when you do get to meet her in the game, you do get a chance to meet her, not in any dialogue options however, but still. In the game, you get to connect to Jenny through Jackie, as he comforts her during there TV session, you get to "cuddle" with Jenny, and kiss her, giving the player a sense that Jackie and Jenny really do love each other.
In-game, Jenny acts as some sort of muse for Jackie to keep living, the glue to his life, in one of the loading times Jakie says to Jenny : You are the only one I can count on ; and when you learn about her demise, everything becomes sort of a haze from there, depressing both the player and Jackie.

Jenny is a slim female, with piecings on her lip, in the game, she is depicted wearing long jeans, a green sweater, black converse and a red scarf, you don't get much of a detailed personality during the course of the campaign, what you do get out of it again is the loving personality she contains, and she does use some form of tongue-in-cheek humor, this is said when she calls you "rat-face" and giggles right after.

During the apartment scene, if you choose to stay with her and watch TV with her, the developers start to build the relationship between them, this makes it when the support antagonist's, Paulie and Shrotes take your girlfriend captive as a sort of bargaining tool sort of wince in pain. During the Confrontation scene with Paulie, Shrote and Jenny, you do learn that over the course of Jackie and Jenny's relationship, that she does not know anything about what Jackie does. Remember before how I said they use the apartment scene as a relationship build-up, to connect the player to her somehow, well when Paulie executes her in cold blood, it leaves Jackie and possibly the player heartbroken, she leaves Jackie only one message, and its that "Jackie, this isn't your fault..." Before being brutally executed.

The last time you get to see her is at the end of the game when she comfort's Jackie in their last moments together, in this scene it seems that she doesn't care for what he had done to her, mainly because when Jackie asked for forgiveness, she tells him in a soft voice that "How can I forgive you if it wasn't your fault...", this is a sign that she is a very forgiving and passionate soul, making the player care for her.
