I was a christian, until I decided to get a degree in history. After that, you realise that it is nothing more than another religion used to control people by the means of fear of the unknowns, just as ever other religion.
What we know today as christianity is nothing like it was conceived to be.
I prefer to take religion as a means to socialize and live peacefully with others.
I really cant take any religion seriously though. But if you mix all of them, you have a great book of how to be a better human.
PD: Though If I had to pick my favourite, it would be Budism first, then Muslim (for those of you who are ignorant and think that any Muslim member is a terrorist, let me tell you that there is no such thing as "inmolation" or sacrifice in the Coran, and that only an small number, less than 10% are extremist that go bombing places).
For those that are willing to learn, read a bit of the Coran, it has some great teachings. Its way more civilized than the Bible in many ways.

@Giantsquirrel: I thought you were talking about the Christian comment and you were a fellow Christian and you were saying anyone who doesn't believe in what you believe is "unintelligent". Either way, what you said still came off as you being a bigot, logic or not. I could say things I believe are logically true, but I'd still be a racist.

Of that less than 10%, we have the many groups of extremists, that understood a segment of the Coran differently and decided to go on Jihad's because Ala wanted so, but in reality, Ala just wanted us humans to live peacefully, even if we did not had the same beliefs. This kind of teaching is also found in Buddism. Yet neither Jews nor Christians had such a lesson.
But yes, I made a tiny "mistake" if you want to call it that way.
So, to correct it: 10% are extremist, thats all.
