Graffiti is art. However, graffiti as an act of vandalism is a crime.Jet Set Radio is very nearly a complete metaphor for freedom. Classic Sega, in the best and worst way 0
When you think about it, there are a lot of similarities shared between Jet Set Radio and the original Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Genesis. Both had unique graphical styles, incredible soundtracks, were heavily focused on gameplay through momentum, and were in tune with a lot of things that were "cool" in their era. But for however important and iconic the original Sonic the Hedgehog was to Sega, I think it is important to recognize that it was also not a stellar game. Like the first game...

A trip down memory lane is great for existing fans 0
I am surprised it took Sega this long to release an HD port of the critically acclaimed Jet Set Radio. Then again, the company has made some disappointing decisions in my opinion, such as the stupid March 2013 delay for Anarchy Reigns (the game is fully translated already!) and HD ports for games that people most likely did not ask for. Who would take Sega Bass Fishingover ChuChu Rocket or Skies of Arcadia? Anyway, Jet Set Radio is finally here to tease our nostalgia for the game, but is nostalg...

I never was able to get my hands on a copy of the original Jet Set Radio (nor a Dreamcast, for that matter), but ever since I saw the case for its sequel on the Xbox at my cousin's house I've always wanted to get my mitts on either one. Having never owned a Dreamcast, I've always been quite disappointed that many of the system's best games have remained exclusives- meaning I'd never gotten to play them on my Gamecube or PS2. Jet Set Radio (or Jet Grind Radio, as it was initially known in my beloved homeland) was one such game, never seeing any sort of re-release outside of its 2000 debut on the Dreamcast- a sequel on Xbox and a GBA game with the same title notwithstanding.Thankfully, that time has ended. Jet Set Radio's Dreamcast version (or the original version) is much the same as compared to the newer 2012 Xbox 360 version. Jet Set Radio is remarked as my favorite video game of all-time for its art style, character designs, and worthy music. The only major differences in this and the Xbox 360 version is that this one has less graffiti to choose from and doesn’t contain the bonus content....

Jet Set Radio is ranked among one of my favorite console video games of all time, mainly because of its timeless graphics, the style, and the music. But what makes me love the game the most are the stylish and unique characters - each appealing to the player in their own unique way.
