Race of placid creatures that keep getting kidnapped in the Banjo-Kazooie series. Have evil robot counterparts called MInjos

Overview

Jinjos originally lived on Spiral Mountain, the same place Banjo and Kazooie live. They were forced out of their home when Gruntilda built her lair on Spiral Mountain. Then they are scattered throughout the levels, with each level having Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Orange Jinjos. Finding all the Jinjos means setting them free and also being awarded with a Jigsaw Puzzle piece.

In Banjo-Tooie, Jinjos make another appearance along with their enemies, the Minjos. Minjos are like Jinjos, but attack the player if collected. Minjos were easier to find and that helped set the trap for their attack. The Jinjo's king, King Jingaling, also makes an appearance in the sequel. Rescuing Jinjos was also different. They were now rescued as a family. New colors of Jinjos that first appear in Banjo-Tooie are: White, Purple, Red, Brown and Black. Jinjos make another appearance in Banjo-Kazooie, Grunty's Revenge. where again, one family of Jinjos is allocated to each level.

Now Jinjos inhabit the Isle O' Hags.

Activities

Jinjos are very friendly and sociable. Jinjos even appear to like a good sport, in Banjo-Tooie, the Jinjos are a team preparing for a kickball tournament against a team of moles.
