    Overview

Coded by Carlo Perconti this arcade-strategy hybrid game was firstly published in 1988 by Chip Software under the name "Jeanne d'Arc" in Germany and France. In 1989 it was published by GO! (a subsidiary of U.S. Gold Ltd.) in the UK as "Joan of Arc" and in the USA by Brøderbund Software, Inc. as "Joan of Arc: Siege & The Sword".

Further known releases were done by Erbe Software in Spain and by Soft-World in Taiwan. The publishing company Highlights re-released it also in 1989 as a budget title in several European countries.

The game supports joystick, mouse, keyboard control and savegames. Unlike the UK/Spain releases, the U.S. release included a game map showing the Kingdom of France.
