Overview
John Common is a developer of video games, artist, and self-proclaimed wearer of goggles. John started developing video games as merely a hobby, but it soon grew to be his full-time job. After a few small releases that were not well-received, such as Last Line of Defence and Break the Invaders, released under the name CantStrafeRight in 2010, John decided to make a new beginning for himself. He started this by founding CSR-Studios in 2011. The first game to be released under the name CSR-Studios, Dead Pixels, was a hit on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Until this point, all the games John released were for Xbox Live Marketplace, but with the success Dead Pixels was having, he ported it to PC. In an interview with Tim Hurley, of Gear Fish, John mentioned that he was thinking of shifting his focus away from Xbox Live Marketplace in favor of releasing on PC.
At the time of writing, John Common has developed at least seven games, of which, four have been released, and is working on at least one more game with the intention of publishing it.
