    Overview

Daikatana on the Game Boy Color incorporated a similar gameplay style to the Legend of Zelda (which designer John Romero is a fan) with its top-down perspective, dungeon-style combat sequence and exploration. Romero wrote all the text and dialogue for the GBC version. The game didn't make it to the US market but instead only made it to PAL regions.

    Reception

The GBC version was more well received than its 3D counterpart.
