I've played Journey, but you haven't. Fortunately, that's going to change for some of you!

thatgamecompany has revealed the ambitious multiplayer-driven adventure game's getting a "very limited" beta test, according to the company's Twitter, with more details on Monday.

I heard whispers about the beta at E3, so it's great to hear it's actually happening. When I played Journey just prior to E3, the multiplayer part wasn't working, so this'll all be new for me, too.

Cool, then maybe someone else can get it if they reply your first post. That happened to me for some reason, a while back.

Will the multiplayer have machine guns?

It is an interesting concept. I always find having a reason to work together for a specific goal to be more motivating, ala a co op campaign. The whole meet people you don't know and work together or not depending on your mood works pretty well in real life. The pub down the street from me has billiard tables, and some kind of trivia you play at the bar, team vs team for free drinks. You also have the added bonus of visual conformation that the flesh sack you have been interacting with is not an AI, for better or worse. The whole point of video games, for me, is to do something I can not in real life.

...So you just sit on Giant Bomb and hit F5 until content shows up, then make a mad dash for the comments so you can post insightful comments such as "first"? AWESOME. Keep up the good work duder!

So does this game feature a small town girl living in a lonely world or not?

I want into this beta so hard. SO HARD!

I have no idea how this is going to work online but I hope it simply ends up no-communication, two anonymous beings working for a goal, all artsy-like. I want to enjoy this on my screen yesterday.

I can't decide which has been more overhyped from E3 - Journey or that "my dad was an alcoholic" game.

Cant wait to hear more about this game.

Tell me what I need to do and I'll do it. Super interested in this game.

I'm still unclear as to what you actually *do* in this game aside from world traversal. Is there any sort of interaction/combat?

Based on their previous game Flower, I highly doubt there is combat. Remember, it's "machinegunless." Though there will be puzzles I think.

I'd bang this if it was on 360.

Man, I would love to be a part of the beta.

I don't think there's a game I'm more interested in playing than Journey, greatly anticipating the actual game release.

I want in so bad.  Flower is probably my favorite PS3 game and I just need some of that tranquility that this game looks like it can bring.
