JumpJet Rex

Overview

As Rex, a T-Rex with rocket boots, players navigate their way through more than 40 challenging levels and race against the clock to prevent the extinction of dinosaurs.

Players can explore the galaxy and unlock new worlds alone or team up with a friend in co-op mode, where players will need to coordinate movements to get past challenges. In co-op mode, the second player takes on the role of Tugpug, Rex's pet pug. As well as this, there are various leaderboards and competitive multiplayer modes.|

Each of the game's levels have multiple stars to collect, 1 star for simply completing the level while the other two are for completing the level in one life and beating the level in under the par time. Each level requires a certain amount of stars to unlock, to the point where simply going slowly through each level will not allow players to progress.

The player's character is equipped with a pair of antigravity boots. from a practical perspective this allows Rex to jump though the game's obstacles however in achieving par times it becomes quickly apparent that the less time Rex spends on the ground the better.

JumpJet Rex is slated for release on PC, Mac and Linux via Steam Early Access in January 2015. The game features a soundtrack composed by Danimal Cannon and Will Blanton.
