Jun Kazama is a character in the Tekken series. She uses the Kazama-Style Self-Defense fighting style, and is the mother of Jin Kazama, whom she had with Kazuya Mishima. She was attacked by Ogre after Tekken 2, and he official status is "missing", although she is speculated to have died.

Tekken 2

Jun Kazama is a character in the popular Tekken video game series. She is the mother of Jin Kazama, whom she had with Kazuya Mishima. Jun was a WWWC Officer, which brought her to The King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, as she was ordered to arrest Mishima Zaibatsu owner Kazuya Mishima for smuggling endangered animals. At the conclusion of the tournament she finds that the root of Kazuya’s supernatural strength stems from the Devil. However, she is strangely drawn to him, propelled by a mystical force beyond her control.

Fifteen years after the second King of Iron Fist Tournament, Jun was attacked by Ogre, and has not appeared in any canonical Tekken game since (although she has appeared as a vision to Jin). Although her official status is “missing”, it is heavily speculated by fans that she was killed by Ogre.

Relationships With Other Characters

Although the nature of Kazuya and Jun’s relationship is never revealed to the player, it is commonly believed by players that she is responsible for the “Angel” side of Kazuya’s soul (although this has not been confirmed). Regardless of the relationship between Kazuya and Jun, Jun and Jin’s relationship was a good one, as Jin as remained loyal to his mothers teachings throughout the series. This is most evident during Jin’s Tekken 4 ending, where Jin was about to deliver a fatal blow to Heihachi but did not. Before transforming into Devil Jin and flying away, he told him to “Thank my mother, Jun Kazama” .

Another character related to Jun is Asuka Kazama, who debuted in Tekken 5. The two share the same last name and the same fighting style (although Asuka has more moves). Perhaps most strangely, the two share spiritual powers. Jun had the power to temporarily subdue quell entity's, such as the Devil in Kazuya. Similarly, in Asuka's Tekken 5 ending, when she punches Devil Jin after he accidentally lands with his face in her breast, when Jin gets up he is no longer in Devil form. If the two share this power, then notably Asuka cannot sense supernatural forces like Jun could (she could sense the Devil in Kazuya).
