Ditto, bro. I'm stoked for this game, which is kind of ironic because I really didn't care for the first one in the series.

This game is going to give Rockstar some serious food for thought.  The Map is HUGE and really varied.

I only have 2 things about this game that I don't like and neither of them are that huge,
 

1. No multiplayer, At All.   I mean I don't need some huge separate MP system, But 2 player co-op, or even just a Free Play mode where you can bring in a few friends and just tear shit up.
2. The Pre-Order is ripping off NA, Everywhere else in the world you get all 5 exclusive DLC for pre-ordering, But in North America you will only get 1.  Boo.

Looks interesting. Hopefully it improves a lot on the first one.

I haven't even heard of the first game =P But I have been really excited for Just Cause 2 for a long time now, It has the open world sandbox elements mixed with a reality that doesn't take itself too seriously. Which is great! I hated GTA4 because they tried to make it all gritty and realistic, yet the underlying elements are so cartooney and unbelieveable, so I felt like it was trying to be two different games.
 
Luckily JC2 looks to be along the same path as Saints Row 2, which was a great game for its pure over the top sillyness, as well as a interesting storyline, (Plus you get a motorbike that can drive up walls! [And you can use a katana on moterbikes!])
 
So yeah, Just Cause 2 is going to be awesome.
