    Insane plane. 0

For how much this costs, this plane is insane. It is so fast and twitchy, if you record stuff of what you do this plane is a must have as it makes everything so much funnier, such as taking off on one of the bridges in the big city in one of these is a real challenge, especially if you don't hit anything....

The Most Realistic Game Ever 0

Let's just say I love this game.  It's great when my interwebz is slow and I can't play some game online to be able to pop this game in, find the nearest airport, steal a plane, and blow the shite out of some nearby base.  Just the other day I discovered an OIL RIG.  An OIL RIG.  That had things I could BLOW UP.  Plus I realized that as you blow the shit out of things, some things stay and some things don't.  For example, SAM installations stay blown up.  Helicopters re-spawn.  Some bases are so...

When It's All About Fun... 0

Just Cause 2 is the best B-Movie game I have ever played and definitely has been the source of the most fun I have had in a long time. That is not to say that it is perfect, but the game as a whole is just phenomenal!  PROS:-Great Fun  -Grappling Hook + Parachute = Best Concept Ever   -DLC support thus far great and free to cheap -Fun With Friends -Loads of Explosions - Great Controls  CONS: -Terrible Story -Audio and Graphical Glitches ...

Avalanche Studios just might be onto something here. 0

If there's one thing you're going to hear from me over the course of this review, it will be just how flat out crazy Just Cause 2 is. It makes no admissions to the contrary either. Just Cause 2 just might be the most bizarre and the most entertaining gaming experience you'll have this year, if you're willing to look past a few of its shortcomings.  Just Cause 2, like the original, has you as Rico Rodriguez, a CIA agent who specializes in overthrowing Governments. His mission is the fictional Sou...

The best dumb open world game ever. 0

Welcome to the island of Panau. This is an island which is will be completely alien to all of you, in the island of Panau you will meet people with strange accents, the laws of ‘physics’ does not operate here and the most efficient way of getting yourself around the island is using a combination of parachute and a grappling hook. This game is just my type of game. I will now paint a picture for you. Rico whips out his grappling hook, targets a hovering helicopter hundreds of metres away, ...

An Exploding C4 of Fresh Air 0

Just Cause 2 really begins to come together after plummeting 3,000 feet from a zeppelin based strip club, releasing your parachute and then grappling onto a passing helicopter, hijacking it, and then crashing it into oncoming police cruisers at ground level. In other words, the game if outrageous and fun. Admittedly, it has some open world jank, but at its core the game is solidly built and entertaining to play. Controls tend to be easy to master, and once one learns how to grapple and release t...

    Fun Open World Mayhem 0

The original Just Cause was a fun romp with a huge problem that had the flaw of being barren. Your world was epic, but there wasn't a heck of a lot to do. Avalanche has rectified the problem many times over with the sequel. In fact, few games have worlds as packed as this. There are 360 something places to find and grab upgrades and destroy government property. There are 49 missions for 3 factions. Dozens of challenges. All this seems to demonstrate that they realized that its fun to do ...

THIS is what a Sequel should be like. 0

Do you hear me GTAIV? Sequels are supposed to have MORE stuff than their predecessors. So how do you improve on an already huge game? MAKE IT BIGGER.  Of course, that's not really enough in reality. A larger game world means nothing if the gameplay isn't refined. So be happy to know; Avalanche games understood this, took everything that was wrong about their previous game, and completely overhauled the experience.   A Bit of Introduction to the Sandbox Genre... Know what GTA plays like? More fun than good 0

THE GOOD: The open-world is absolutely huge and ready for you to destroy. The grapple and parachute are very unique and make getting around fun. There are bazillions of collectables and power ups. And every last inch of the world is packed with explosives; causing chaos, death, and destruction is just plain fun. THE BAD: The story, the writing, and especially the voice acting, are utterly horrible (thankfully you can skip the cut scenes). There is an over-abundance of enemies in the game, and ...

An outstanding, fun sandbox game 0

In the interest of full disclosure here, I'll admit right off the bat that I'm only 35% finished with Just Cause 2, according to its detailed statistics page. Scoff it up, if you want, and say I shouldn't write a review of the game with such a miserly amount of the game finished. But consider this, to the game's credit. That 35% accounts for me having completed the game on Normal, caused an incredible amount of chaos in the not-quite-friendly islands of Panau, and just over 30 hours of gameplay....
