They look like they've been run through a few prettiness filters, but still. Between the wingsuit and the barrel-towing, I'm suddenly very hyped about this.

The feature I'm most excited about is: not being on a tropical island again.
My most wanted new feature is: less dialog. In fact, no character motivation for Rico at all, other than being a dick.
@billymaysrip: Published by Square Enix yes.
The question remains, will the actual game be fun this time? When playing Just Cause 2 all the stunt position riding and grappling was always a lot of fun, for a while, and then you start doing story missions and they were terrible. The island was the best example of how dead and empty and open world game can be. The driving was iffy, the shooting lacked any feedback, the enemies lacked variety.. so on and so forth.
I just hope they can turn this huge sandbox into a game you actually want to play rather than just mess around in.
That character model looks like the same one Avalanche are using for Mad Max in their Mad Max game. Collusion? Or maybe they're actually gonna use Tom Hardy's likeness for Mad Max and repurpose that model for Just Cause. CONSPIRACY.
@corevi: It is very likely. The PC version of Just Cause 2 still looks pretty gosh darn amazing.

Totally. With JC2, I think I didn't even touch any of the story missions past the tutorial/ necessary ones. Just spent months messing around in a hundred different ways with my friend in that open world (with god mode on)
I wouldn't be surprised if this is an accurate representation of what Just Cause 3 will look like. JC2 on PC was really quite gorgeous and ran beautifully on PC, super impressive engine, that one.
Multiple tethers is going to make everything so much more stupid and I cannot wait.
And yeah, hopefully they can tighten up the issues that the previous games have had, but honestly, even if they don't, I won't care that much. I still adored both the other games and had so much fun just messing around. Perfect Vinny games.
Can't wait, this is pretty much the only game I'm genuinely excited about.
JC2 was one of the few games that I really went ahead and did pretty much everything there was to do, and usually in open world games I do a portion of the side stuff and all but once the story is done I seldom come back to it.
I am so ready to blow up some red and white shit in a generic downtrodden third world tropical, or subtropical as the case may be, country.
As much as I'd like to see this on my living room TV, this is probably going to be one of those games where the PC version is far and away the version to get, if JC2 is any indication.
@cloudymusic: idk, other than the lack of mods the ps3 version of JC2 was pretty good, played through it entirely there, nary a problem and ran nice.
also there's nothing stopping you from hooking your PC to the living room TV ;P
