I haven't seen anything on this game. Do you live in Japan? If you don't how much do the figures cost to import? Is the gameplay any good? How many Riders are there?

Got really excited that this was a discussion about games where you play as toys that have come to life.

    Man, Toy Commander was awesome.

There's been plenty of those, both good and bad. The many, many Toy Story games, Toy Soldiers and Army Men were all pretty good and there's even more that are awful like the Small Soldiers game.

@corevi: Sorry for the late reply. I was just back in America.

The gameplay is solid. It's in the Musou style, but very different from the Battleride games. The combat is simplified and faster, with more focus on moving and dodging than slamming through waves like the old ones. As of this month, all Heisei riders are available. Most of their upgrade forms are also released, with some exceptions, like Ryuki and Hibiki. Those will likely come in the third wave.

As for importing them, I think I could get them for around $20 per pack, which is two riders and two chips. There are also loose chips and other things, but that's the bulk. The main game would probably be around $100 to import. Let me know if you want anything and I can get some firm prices for you.

Wait, does this game have the terrifying spider lady that scared the hell out of me when I was 9?

Quick update: difficulty spike is pretty huge, item gathering is terrible and slow, and they seem to have given up after the first wave. BOOOOO.
