    Kanji Tatsumi

Character » appears in 11 games

A juvenile delinquent who has extensive experience with street fighting. Despite his tough exterior, Kanji possesses a much softer side.

Possible inspiration for Kanji's character design?

Alright, a lot of this might be a stretch but bear with me anyway. So a while ago I was watching Blade Runner, and I couldn't help but notice a few things about the character Roy compared to Kanji (if you haven't seen Blade Runner you really should see it).

The first thing I immediately noticed was the hairstyle and hair colour, but also that later in the movie Roy is running around semi-nude with a scar above his left eye. Everything I know about Persona 4 is from the endurance run, and I haven't really seen past the end of Kanji's dungeon since I decided to play the game myself, so I don't know if the similarities go any deeper than that (would definitely appreciate spoiler tags as well). Anyone else think this is accurate, or is it just me?

@Random88: Ah, I knew about that for the hair colour, but not about the hairstyle. I always imagine Japanese delinquents walking around everywhere with pompadours.
