    Overview

    Karl Malone is a retired American professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Louisiana Tech University, and for the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. At Utah he formed one of the best duos in NBA history with point guard John Stockton, and as a result he's the 2nd in career points of all time in the NBA, while Stockton is the 1st in assists of all time.

    Malone is a 2-time NBA MVP, 14-time All-Star, 2-time NBA All-Star MVP, 14-time All-NBA (11x first team, 2x second team, 1x third team), and 4-time All-Defense (3x first team, 1x second team).

    Malone was inducted in the NBA Hall of Fame in 2010, and his no. 32 jersey has been retired by the Utah Jazz. He's considered one of the best power forwards of all time.
