Ketchapp is a video games publishing company founded in 2014. It largely focuses on the iOS and Android platforms. It is infamous for publishing clones of well-received indie games, and sometimes allegedly cloning rejected submissions without permission nor credit. One of its earliest games is an ad-monetised iOS port of 2048, which was known to be a clone of a clone of Threes!. That re-ignited the great debate on the ownership and licensing of game design in the game development community, and launched Ketchapp as a successful mobile games publisher.
In September 2016, Ketchapp was purchased by Ubisoft.
