How's the Dialogue?

From the quick look, there's a lot of irreverent chit chat. So how is it? Cheesy? Endearing? Or just bad?

Really fun. The game doesn't take itself seriously, the characters are all colorful, the acting and delivery is top notch, and I honestly wish that there was more.

Yeah, most critics have cited that the dialogue and characters are funny without being all cheesy in a weird, japanese-kind-of-way.

From the QL i really enjoyed the dialogue. I don't have a 3DS but this and a couple more great games could make me pick one up.

The dialogue is great. There's even a line about Nintendogs.

lol it's kind of awesome. It's cheesey but aware of it's cheese. It's just funny and likeable really.

The dialogue's brilliant. It'll just make you smile. It's self-referential without being irritating and some of the crap Pit says during moments of victory and high drama are brilliant because the other characters just respond with "What did you just say?", the best kind of reaction.

This in a nutshell. Kinda surprised how goofy it really is. Wonder if Pit will be like that in the new Smash.

Oh, I hope so. Pit is basically the overly-earnest straight man to everyone else's banter and commentary, even in those moments when he tries to sass. That's what makes him so wonderful in this game. And man, Palutena's got some lip of her own. Actually, it's hard to pick out any favorite lines from the game just because there are so many of them.

I do love Hades's explanation of what he'd wish for, though. The extra illustrations that went along with it were icing on the cake.
