Glad they went with Fulgore. He's the mascot. Thought there was a slim chance they hold him for Season 2, but glad that's not the case. Still got Cinder, TJ Combo, Riptor, etc. to look forward to anyways.

What - how is there no Cinder!? The forward-forward-punch spam was the best in KI1.

I feel like Fulgure was the most popular with KI arcade machines way back then. He's definitely the first character I picked up and learned to play, later transitioning to Jago and Orchid once I got the basics down. It makes sense to me that Fulgore would be revealed last.

I also completely forgot about TJ Combo until I read this thread, it's been a lot of years since I played KI. Man, he was a pain in the ass in the hands of a skilled player.

Are they seriously not just using all the original characters? They actually parcel out reveals of the characters that will be in this game? That's crazy talk

I thought they had confirmed that Fulgore would be in the game in a slipped part of an interview a long ass time ago and that this was no surprise?

Huh. Well, I remember that and knew this all along, I guess. Since he was my main in the original game, I'm sure he'll OH WAIT I'M NOT BUYING AN XBOX ONE SO I WON'T PLAY THE GAME.

Damn. That still pretty much bums me out.

I would really like to see their take on Cinder, but I can wait I guess.
