on my 2nd or 3rd level on Elite mode. so far, not as bad as i expect it. but im afraid to go on because i know it will eventually get tougher. so anyone beat this on Elite and how was it??

I got up to the ATAC fight on elite and it hurt. So I did what any man would do and skipped it, I'm now up to that train bit. All I keep thinking about is how irritating those waves of enemies at the very end are going to be.

This is a gold trophy you'll definitely feel like you've earned.

I havent beat the game on hard yet. I dont even wanna think about elite right now. But sometime in the future, Ill run through the game on elite. And thats when Ill be a MASTA!

Elite in Killzone 2 seems like Veteran in COD4/WaW to me.  Aggravating waste of time IMO.

hell naw. i remember playing the game on veteran and half way thru i said fuck it and lowered it to trooper. AI is crazy the harder you make it, they want to fucking kill you so bad lol

Don't let one troll get you so worked up. Just ignore his obvious flame bait and talk about getting your ass handed to you in Killzone elite.

I'm halfway through the bit on the our Space Ship/Base thing. It's ok if you take your time, but the moments where you have to fight off waves is mad-hard. The bit before you go on the bridge was the hardest so far along with the train waves.

Not looking forward to Radec though... But i will do it.

I figured the hardest parts would be the waves of enemies. I absolutely hated those parts playing on Normal. But then again I loved the challenge of it. So yea, me and the Killzone waves have a sorta hate/love relationship. Radec on the other hand, is complete BS. If you dont have a flame thrower guy coming at you, you have a random rocket that killed you. Did you notice that they always aim for the way behind you and never at you? I dont remember being directly hit by a rocket ever. I would see the rocket, dodge(so I thought) and then die when it exploded on the wall that I didnt know was behind me.

Yea, when I first completed the game on normal, I found the best way to kill the Radec waves was to just sprint around with the knife.

The enemy AI is very good when they have range, the way they use cover, flank and blind fire. However sprinting at them, there too slow to react :)

Not much use on Elite though because you die in two hits :[

This is one of the last trophies I`m going to go for, single player wise, as this will be a tough cookie.

I just started playing the single player of Killzone 2 today...so far it's really boring.

I just got up to Radec last night on elite, thanks to the new improved controls i might add, died straight away and thought, fuck it i'll attempt this when i have a bit more time and when i'm totally relaxed, that fight can get soooooooooo annoying with stupid-ass Rico screaming at you.

This morning my 12 year old son beat the last three parts including killing Radec on Elite.  The weird part is that all during the Vasori Palace  sections he had no pistol.  Not that it is of much use anyway but it is strange that he couldn't switch to it.  Anyone else experienced this?  Prior to the last up-date he did have a pistol.  Maybe the up-date removed it?
