Dude, that was pretty sweet. A cool little free feature that was totally unnecessary, which is why its awesome. It just drives home how impressive the graphics in KZ2 are. 

I downloaded it too.  Real nice tech demo stuff.  I appreciate the commentary, and I like how it lets you view the normal mapping, specularity and such.  Next off they need to enable these features in retail Killzone 2 (I'm really interested in the technical stuff).  Literally no other companies give you such a nice window into game tech these days.
