I was just wondering if you guys think it's good because i think it lacks, not as good as cod4.
Killzone 2
Game » consists of 8 releases. Released Feb 27, 2009
Take the fight to the Helghast in this first person shooter from Guerrilla Games.
Do think Killzone2 multi-player is good.
I can agree with the amount of maps, but the maps that are there are mostly good.
On the gun part, I think the game is gun porn heaven. The M82 is a work of art.
Lack of maps - Only half as many as Call of Duty, but twice as large.
Lack of mods - There are tons of options to tweak. Limit weapons, game types, classes. Call of Duty doesn't even have that option.
Future weapons? These aren't guns that go "pew pew." They shoot hard bullets and have equal accuracy to modern guns.
Personally I love the multiplayer and I think it's a great game to break me away from Call of Duty.
" Wait till Cod6 comes out that will be a crazy game. "
No it isn't good. But comparing it to COD4 isn't fair...Compare it to TF2, you know, classes and such.
The multiplayer is awesome, I can't believe some of the detail in the levels, I spectated a bunch of maps just to see the beauty of each level and they all have there own distinct feeling, damn....now I`m going to go play some :)
personally i think it is amazing. have probably put a full day into it and i havent even come close to unlocking everything
its relatively lag free, the gameplay is solid, and the way the game modes are all integrated into one game is awesome
If the assault class is on it's terrible, most of the classes seem like they've just been taken from TF2, although having said that I don't mind playing it but I get annoyed at that sometimes because some players just play for score which annoys me on something like assassination where you have to get in the base.
And about that precision patch, it doesn't make much of a difference I found it made it worse if anything.
I thought Killzone's multiplayer was pretty solid. Having to pull off certain feats in order to get medals which in turn give you special abilities was a nice twist. Plus that little "baring" noise you get whenever you get a kill always makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
" i hate how you have to press the analog stick to scope. "
I loved the multiplayer, thought the single player was ok - though to be fair I didn't complete it, it didn't keep me interested enough to keep playing through. Having to adjust to Killzones controls every time I play it is no fun, unfortunately it's not like learning to ride a bike. I've played around 30 hours of Killzone multiplayer, it's a lot of fun and for me, it's the best FPS multiplayer this generation a part from Call of Duty 4.
Changing the controls to have L1 scope still screws you over because then it becomes awkward to crouch and and shoot and makes a mess in campaign when L2 is used to take cover. Guerrilla Games really needs to expand on the control options a bit. If they were gonna borrow from the book of CoD4 just like every other FPS in the last year and a half they should have had the balls to go all the way and do it right even if it meant copy and pasting CoD4's control scheme exactly. Its not like anyone is gonna invent some miracle layout, controllers aint changing so if it works use it.
I like the MP... the problem is most people don't play as a team. and you have to in killzone. Also no one goes for the objective, everyone just tries to get the most kills and it never works out... i gave up on it

Killzone 2 multiplayer could be so much cooler than it already is, if people would work together and go for the damn objectives, instead of just trying to get the highest kill count in every round. Yes its good. I enjoy the character class system, but I still hold issues with the control sensitivity. I can get by, but every time I go back and play COD4, I can feel the difference.
That is my greatest fear for MAG. In the demos it looks awesome because those are all Zipper devs and QA people playing the game like they have envisioned it to be played. However, when it actually goes live I can see it just devolving into a 256 person free for all with maybe a couple dozen people actually trying to take objectives.

" there will never be a perfect multi-player game that people will work together, MAG will not work at all. "
I think it is better than CoD4, to be honest. And this is coming from someone who bought CoD4 three times.
Most of the time I am fortunate enough to have a team that actually works on the objectives, and not just kills for the sake of killing.
Maybe I'm just lucky.
I'm very very new to it ...i have only played like 6 or 7 games and I think its really good actually, not as immediate as COD4 but easy enough even for novices... from my brief time with the game I found that it did seem to encourage camping more than other games... that default rifle is absolutely brilliant though. I haven't decided how much time im going to put into the online at this point because of the ever closing in on us MW2..
but as MP games go its very slick and very fun
I think its excellent. Better than COD4. So much more variety in gameplay. And the maps are some of the best I have ever seen. Seriously, I hope Infinity Ward took some notes, Killzone 2's maps are top notch.
"uhhh. my clans are ranked in top 20 and 50 (constantly shifting because valor is a bitch sometimes) and we always work together. the only way to be good.@DuhQbnSiLo said:Agree 120% ""@pornstorestiffi said:I think the concept and how it was put together is great, just no one plays it correctly.
